Our sessions are so successful because of our teamwork! We work within select schools to support students’ speech, language, and communication skills in real learning environments. We collaborate closely with teachers to integrate strategies that enhance communication during everyday lessons and social interactions, ensuring that speech and language goals connect naturally to the classroom curriculum.

We also partner with parents to share progress, provide practical strategies for home, and celebrate each child’s growth along the way.

By working as a unified team—teachers, parents, and therapist—we create consistent support across settings, helping every child build the strong communication skills they need to thrive both academically and socially.

We provide speech therapy at Cheyne Ranch in Oviedo. These sessions are great for kiddos who enjoy spending time outdoors, who are reluctant to go into doctors’ offices or who benefit from the calm atmosphere horses tend to inspire. Many kids have made speech leaps at the farm!

We are happy to have parents present throughout sessions at the farm in order to model and teach techniques and discuss any issues that arose since the previous session. We also work remotely with teachers and other therapists to provide coordinated care that gets fantastic results.

But remember…you won’t get more chicken food from Ms. Julie without using your words!!!

We also offer telehealth and home-based sessions to work on speech-language skills. We use our family-centered, play-based approach to gain optimal learning experiences tailored to each individual child’s needs.

This option is great for families that live outside of Oviedo, but still want to enjoy our excellent service.

As always, we’ll work as a team with any other teachers or therapists engaged in your child’s learning. The virtual world can be quite fun and entertaining at Ivory Speech Therapy!
