Social Programing

  • Second Friday Social Club

The Second Friday Social Club is a neurodiversity-affirming language-focused enrichment program. We meet on the second Friday of each month from 12:30-2:30 PM from January through May. This program is perfect for kids working on communication, social skills and participating in classes independently. We provide assistance to help your child get used to new situations and programs with support. This practice helps them gain confidence and skills to do more!

This semester includes: Big Tree Park, SeaWorld Orlando, a Wheels Parade at Lake Mills Park, a behind-the-scenes interactive tour of Publix, and a Parcour Party!

  • The Social Table

The Social Table is an exciting program where children can learn and practice communication, culinary, language, social, functional workplace, public speaking, and hospitality skills while having fun with friends and serving others.

Our new series celebrates young talent through hands-on business learning — from crafting and packaging to pricing, marketing, and confident communication. Our workshops empower participants to create, plan, and present their own tasty gift products — blending creativity, communication, and real-world skills. And we'll rehearse our sales strategies and communications so that they shine when the market days arrive!

Julia Gerhard joins with Vicki Perez, MEd and owner of Young Chef’s Academy Oviedo and Joyce Schmidt, MEd, Art Therapist and owner of BeauQ Creations Oviedo to offer this innovative program.

This program meets on 1st and 3rd Mondays and Fridays from January 16 through May 4. Mondays is the abridged version of the course for children with who feel more comfortable with more speech-language support and a shorter 1.5 hour meeting time. The Friday program meets for 2.5-3 hours. See events or calendar links for more information

  • Cheyne Ranch Social Club

The Cheyne Ranch Social Club is perfect for those who love being outdoors and for those who are just getting used to social groups.

The horses have a way of making us all feel more welcomed. Ms. Rose and Ms. Julie work together with a group of under ten children to work on social skills, group participation, parent drop-off anxiety (don’t worry, we NEVER make parents separate before they are ready!), shyness, overenthusiastic talking, and many more childhood patterns.

It’s a beautiful place to grow and learn. We’d love to see you there!

Our next six-week session will be on Tuesdays from 1-2PM and starts on January 20 2026.
